High Quality PVA Glue D4 Grade

DESCRIPTION

PVA D4 is a solvent free industrial grade D4 wood adhesive based on the latest hybrid resin technology. PVA D4 provides the user with a waterproof D4 grade adhesive with none of the safety issues associated with conventional isocyanate containing (polyurethane) D4 grades. PVA D4 can be used internally and externally and gives a high strength, water, impact and temperature resistant bond that is usually stronger than the wood itself. Ideal for general woodworking and joinery uses, assembly line work, RF/HF cure systems, wood on wood laminating, furniture assembly and household DIY use. Dries clear. Easy water clean up. Conforms to the international standards EN204 (D4).

DIRECTIONS

Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from grease. All parts should mate well and be dust and grease free. Uneven parts will give longer setting times and weaker bonds. Moisture content of wood must be within 8-15% w/w. Do not use below 10°c (room or wood temperature). Apply adhesive thinly to both surfaces (150-180g/m2) and assemble immediately. Remove excess adhesive with a damp cloth immediately. May be handled carefully after 10 minutes (initial setup). Clamp or apply weight pressure for 3-4 hours or use industrial press.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Safe in normal use. However; as a precaution, wash splashes off skin and if product enters eyes, flood immediately with cold water. Do not take internally. Keep out of the reach of children.
